UNT has recently partnered with the Education Navigation program with Catholic Charities of Fort Worth. Education Navigation helps underserved students including DACA and undocumented students navigate toward college completion through resource connection, emergency financial assistance, and guidance toward financial independence.

Ana Guerrero serves as the client navigator at the UNT Denton campus in the First-Generation Success Center room 376L. Ana helps students reach their personal and academic goals by removing any barriers that may arise.

The primary benefit of participating in the program is one-on-one mentorship. Ana meets with students twice a month, makes goals with them, and goes over any questions or concerns. The program is currently giving out gift cards to students who enroll before October 21st.
