UNT wants to hear from YOU about your experiences to make UNT a more inclusive and caring community. As a follow up to the Campus Inclusion Climate Survey, focus groups will address:

• Perceptions of institutional support for diversity, equity and inclusion
• Experiences with discrimination, harassment and bias

Spring 2021 focus groups will be conducted for the following student (both undergraduate and graduate) and employee (both faculty and staff) groups:

• African American/Black: men and women
• Hispanic/Latinx: Foreign-born and US-born
• White/Caucasian: men

Note: These are the three groups that had the most statistically significant results for which we are trying to gain more insights. We do plan to do additional groups, but are prioritizing these for now. Voluntary participation involves attending a 60 to 90-minute focus group discussion regarding your perspectives on a Zoom meeting platform. Protocols will be used to protect anonymity.

Incentives

Students who participate in the survey will receive a $10 Amazon e-gift card. Employees will not receive incentives for participation.
